2005-03-21 - dreamwalking
I started here. The first entry is cryptic. It leaves me wanting to know what lead to it's conception. The next entry, is pretty, and it reminds me of the beauty of a new relationship. After that, offers a glimmer to the less desirable aspects of relationships, or so I figure that's what it's meant to say. Here, the use of "gave birth" is striking and unique: I like it! The next entry after that is a great entry, my favorite I think, because it's a list of wants, showing the less...lovable (?) aspects of life, and your desires and thoughts. It's a strong entry. The entry after that, I didn't like so much. Why do you hate everything? Where does that thought come from? But you just said you hated everything! The first half of this entry is really good too. It is thought-provoking and inspiring. Okay, then I'm to the index. Um, well. I can say that you definately have a unique writing style. Your entries are what I'm assuming to be poems, though they could be just free-flowing thoughts (maybe that's what a poem is though!). They are emotional, usually thought-provoking, and often involved. You don't seem to want to put everything into them, so that a reviewer such as myself would be able to understand what the heck is going on half the time. I really had a hard time keeping up with what you were talking about. While it is a strong style to write in, I would suggest that for reviews, more details help the reviewer to enjoy reading your writing.
Grammar is fine, punctuation, well, not so much. You don't really use punctuation, but then again ee cummings made a living without punctuation, so maybe it's over-rated. Your literary style is unique, as mentioned above, and I think I like it.
The image is not as clean as I would like it, but hey, I have the same problem sometimes too. The lyrics are all very pretty (I assume they're lyrics, or a poem of some sort). The colors look good together, and the whole design theme matches, even your username matches. Nice job!

Something unique about your site... alright. I give you 10 points for this: "I love Jesus and want to live my life to glorify Him. I want to be all I can be. I want to have fun. I want to live." That is a very strong statement, both of emotion and religion, and I really admire it in your personality. While it doesn't seem to manifest itself in the rest of your writing, the fact that you could mention such devotions at all is something to note.
Probably not, just because my personal reads are more like stories that I can read (day-logs).
You haven't written too much recently. What's up with that?
